there be/live/lie/exist...句型中使用完全倒装。

1.There was pastry on my fingers, on the telephone, and on the door-knobs.

表示方位、地点或时间的副词开头时，这类词主要有：ahead, away, back, down, in, off, out, up, here, there, then, now, next等。

1.Here comes the teacher.

2.Down came stout Santa in a single bound.

当一个句子没有宾语，或主语较长，或为了强调状语，常将作状语的介词短语放在句首，将谓语动词放在主语之前。

1.From a region of seven million people has arisen some of the greatest pop music in he world.

2.Out of the jungle came an old man.

以作表语的分词、形容词、副词等开头的倒装句。

1.Lying on the floor was a wounded peasant boy.

2.Seated on the grass are a group of college students.

such作表语置于句首时用完全倒装，be动词需与后面主语保持一致。

1.Such was Albert Einstein, a simple man of great achievements.

2.Such were the facts.

以否定副词或否定意义的介词短语开头。

1.Never have I heard anything like it.

2.Neither could we get rid of the smell of fish.

3.Little do I dream of seeing such wonderful scenery.

以not only...but also, no sooner...than, hardly...when, not until...等连词位于句首时。

1.No sooner had they reached home than it started pouring.

以“only+状语”开头的倒装句

1.Only when we learn to exist in harmony with nature can we stop being a threat to wildlife and to our planet.

2.Only in this way can we solve this problem.

3.Only then did I realize the importance of English.

以so, neither/nor开头的倒装句

1.I love this movie and so did all my friends.

2.He has nothing today; nor will he have any next day.

虚拟条件句的倒装

1.Had the museum been closed, we would have been upset.

2.Were I in your position, I would ask him about the matter.

让步状语从句的倒装。由as引导的让步状语从句，其结构为：形容词/名词/副词/动词原形+as+主语+其他。

1.Enviable as the cool kids may have seemed, Dr. Prinstein’s studies show unpleasant consequences.

2.Hard as he worked, he couldn’t earn enough even to support himself.

频度副词置于句首的倒装。常见有：always, usually, often, once, every day等。

1.Often did we warn them not to do so.
