2.方位介词的“常见考点”

1) 方位介词in, on, to的区别

l in表示"在……范围内”，还表示“在…之中”,on表示“与……毗邻，接壤”, to表示方位，不接壤。

Chongqing lies in the southwest of China.

Canada lies on the north of America.

Hunan lies to the east of Zhejiang.

2) 方位介词at, in, on的区别

l 三个词均可和表示地点的词连，表示“在……处”。at用于指较小的地方，如在门牌号码前；in用于指较大的她方；on 一般指与面或线接触的地方如：

We'll meet. each other at the park.   

Mr. White has lived in Hong Kong for 20 years.   

The flood advanced on the village.

3）方位介词through，across

l Through指从空间上穿过，across指从物体表面上穿过如：

They go across the road.

We went through that forest yesterday.
